Roles and Responsibilities

The Online Media Product Merchandiser is responsible for posting movies, music, gaming and book merchandise online for sale. This position photographs and creates written descriptions of assigned items, uploads the listings to a predetermined marketplace and accurately catalogs the items into an assigned inventory location. Through accurate and well-described postings, this position helps to generate revenue to support services and programs in the advancement of our mission.

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to communicate effectively with supervisors, employees and customers.
  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
  • Excellent decision making skills.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Ability and desire to provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to interact with a diverse population in a human services setting.
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Perseverance and commitment to getting the job done.
  • Pallet jack/Forklift trained.

Prior Experience

  • None required.


  • None required, high school diploma preferred.
